PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

Happy Valley Friends ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Happy Valley Friends app (the "App"). We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable privacy laws.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Children

Happy Valley Friends is designed for children ages 2-5. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration. Children can use all features of the App without providing any personal data.

2.2 Information from Parents

If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect your name and email address solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

The App uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data for the sole purpose of improving the App. This includes which mini-games are played, how long sessions last, which pages are viewed, and whether in-app purchases succeed or fail. All data is anonymous — no personally identifiable information is collected.

Firebase Analytics assigns an anonymous app instance identifier to distinguish between installations. We do not collect the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA), device location, or any cross-device tracking data. Google Signals is disabled, and all analytics data is automatically deleted after 2 months.

The App functions offline — analytics events are stored locally on the device and uploaded when an internet connection is available. No real-time data transmission is required during gameplay.

3. How We Use Information

Any information we receive (such as parent support emails) is used solely to:

- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Improve the App's functionality and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We do not share information with advertisers. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain third-party advertising, social media integrations, or links to external websites accessible by children. In-app purchases, if available, are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's privacy practices. Parental controls are protected behind an age-verification gate.

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data as described in Section 2.3. Firebase Analytics is configured to be COPPA-compliant: no advertising identifiers are collected, cross-device tracking is disabled, and data retention is limited to 2 months. For more information about Firebase's data practices, visit Google's privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information we receive. Since the App operates offline and does not collect data from children, the risk of unauthorized access to children's information is minimal.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Parents may contact us at any time to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information by emailing us at the address below.

8. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

- Review any personal information we may have collected
- Request deletion of any personal information
- Refuse further collection or use of your child's information
- Manage in-app purchase settings through your device

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
